The Opportunity
At Booz Allen Hamilton, as a Human Capital Specialist, you will partner with clients to understand their mission, people, and processes. You will design and manage awards programs that celebrate excellence, ensure alignment with mission objectives, comply with policy, and deliver meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage awards programs and recognition initiatives
- Partner with leadership and HR teams to align programs with mission
- Interpret policies and ensure compliance
- Analyze data and distill complex information for senior decision-makers
- Coordinate events and manage stakeholder expectations
What You Have
- Proven experience building credibility and driving adoption
- Experience in developing and administering awards programs
- Ability to perform under tight time constraints and handle changes
- Strong skills in Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Experience managing conflicting priorities across multiple workstreams
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development
Nice To Have
- Experience handling rigorous Q&A sessions
- Managing high-volume quick-turn tasks
- Automating awards workflows using HRIS or tools like ServiceNow or Workday
- Ability to pivot briefings based on executive feedback
- Excellent consulting skills with a client-service mindset
- HR-related Professional Certifications
Clearance & Compensation
This role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Compensation is determined by various factors including location, skills, and experience, with a projected annual range of $55,200 to $126,000.
