The Opportunity: European Market Cybersecurity Business Development and Account Manager
As a European Market Cybersecurity Business Development and Account Manager, you will be instrumental in executing targeted marketing activities and conducting in-depth data analysis to uncover new business opportunities within the European market. Your role involves applying advanced theories, principles, and concepts, actively contributing to the development of new innovative solutions. You will lead the creation of solutions for highly complex problems, operating with significant autonomy in your decision-making.
A key aspect of this position is leveraging your business development and sales expertise in cybersecurity to sell, design, and support the implementation of robust security solutions for leading European-headquartered companies. You will own and drive the entire sales process throughout its lifecycle, engaging crucial stakeholders from various capability and market teams.
Your responsibilities also include identifying, establishing, and nurturing client relationships, managing Enterprise accounts, and consistently closing new sales opportunities. Working collaboratively with the team, you will develop, manage, and maintain the market’s pipeline. This role offers leadership opportunities, including mentoring junior employees, contributing to the development of innovative principles and ideas, and providing creative solutions to address our clients’ core needs within complex, matrixed team environments.
You will also support essential functions such as marketing, intellectual capital development, operations, event coordination, and logistics. This involves working closely with the team on intricate tasks related to account management, product and service offerings, and refining the overall sales and account management process.
You Have:
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, encompassing security strategy and advanced cyber defense.
- 5+ years of experience with direct cybersecurity sales to Enterprise Clients, including Fortune 500 or Global 2000 companies.
- 5+ years of experience in professional sales, selling services, and managing Enterprise client accounts, with a focus on growth and expansion.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting and communicating effectively to teams, executives, and clients through briefings, sales calls, and team-based discussions.
- Proven ability to own and drive the sales process from initial lead generation through deal closure, providing long-term account management to strategic client accounts.
- Capability to thrive in a team-based, fast-paced environment, coordinating with key stakeholders across various technical capabilities, market, and industry teams.
- Ability to lead fast-paced delivery in challenging commercial environments, foster positive client relationships with senior leaders, identify new business opportunities with existing clients, and develop new intellectual capital.
- Skill in synthesizing complex technical content and distilling it into key messages that resonate with senior business leaders.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, as required.
- Bachelor’s degree.

- Experience briefing senior executives and coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise.
- Familiarity with information security regulations or regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, planning, organizational, and client facilitation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including comprehension, conflict resolution, teamwork, and relationship-building abilities.
- Outstanding client-ready verbal and written communication skills.
