Job Overview

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a DevOps Engineer Mid to support the intelligence community with modern software development lifecycle practices. In this role, you will work in a multi-cloud Kubernetes environment and use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate configuration management and infrastructure provisioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and automate builds, regression testing, and release processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues across environments.
  • Deploy and manage cloud applications, primarily on AWS.
  • Utilize Kubernetes with Helm charts and configure IaC with Terraform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adopt DevOps methodologies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps tool and process development.
  • Experience in cloud application deployment and management.
  • Strong background in troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform.
  • Ability to obtain required security certifications and Top Secret clearance.

Nice to Have

  • Scripting experience in Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang.
  • Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Rancher, and RKE2.
  • Exposure to tools like ArgoCD, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Jenkins, and GitLab Runners.
  • Familiarity with additional IaC tools like Terragrunt, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
  • AWS certification and advanced security certification preferred.
