Data Visualization Specialist

The Opportunity

As a Data Visualization Specialist at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and supporting data visualization toolkits, their configuration, deployment, and overall usage. This role requires applying specific functional knowledge and general industry understanding to develop or contribute to solutions for problems of moderate scope and complexity. You will operate independently, guided by initial direction.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL.
• 1+ years of experience utilizing data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Proven experience analyzing both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Experience in developing predictive data models, conducting quantitative analyses, and visualizing targeted data sources.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Bachelor's degree.

"Nice If You Have" Skills

• Experience working within an Agile software delivery environment, including backlog grooming, client prioritization, and product demos.
• Adept at gathering requirements and facilitating client feedback.
• Ability to translate complex business questions into effective technical solutions and compelling visualizations.
• Possession of a Public Trust clearance.

Vetting & Compensation

Applicants selected will undergo a government investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client. Booz Allen offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, along with paid leave, professional development, and tuition assistance. The estimated annual compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 USD, determined by various factors including location, skills, and experience. This posting will close within 90 days.
