Overview
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst, Junior to support cyber risk assessments, system security evaluations, and compliance for Department of Defense (DoD) systems. In this role, you will analyze vulnerabilities, provide risk analysis, and produce actionable insights to help senior leadership make informed decisions during the system development life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and evaluations
- Apply RMF guidance and security test protocols
- Assess system vulnerabilities and compliance
- Aggregate threat feeds for briefing senior leadership
- Recommend technical solutions for security sustainment
Qualifications
Requirements include experience in cybersecurity, IT, or systems administration, familiarity with risk management, compliance standards, and the ability to create effective communications. An Associate's degree is required, along with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RMF A&A and Cybersecurity engineering
- Working knowledge of eMASS, Cloud, and DevSecOps
- Familiarity with STIG compliance and security scans
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
The projected salary range is between $53,000 and $108,000 annually. Booz Allen Hamilton offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, professional development, and flexible work arrangements.
Work Model
This role supports a hybrid work model with potential remote work as well as onsite collaboration when necessary.
