Overview

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Application Architect to support the United States Air Force. This role is perfect for individuals with deep Cloud Architecture expertise who enjoy working in fast-paced, agile environments and can navigate multi-cloud ecosystems.

Responsibilities

You will work in a Cloud Software Engineering role involving:

  • Collaborating with software development teams
  • Building scalable cloud native applications
  • Developing onboarding paths to client platforms
  • Translating customer needs into actionable cloud architectures
  • Assisting in migration and troubleshooting cloud deployments

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years architecting and developing cloud native applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle
  • Experience with microservices, full stack applications, and multi-cloud environments
  • Familiarity with DoD STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and security controls
  • Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Secret clearance and the ability to obtain additional certifications as required
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field

Preferred Experience

Additional strengths include:

  • Troubleshooting both application code and configurations
  • Managing and configuring Ubuntu, RHEL, and Windows Server
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management and identity authentication
  • Experience with cloud native services and account management tools
