The Opportunity

Everyone is trying to harness the cloud, but not everyone knows how. As an AWS Cloud Architect, you will create cloud-based technical architectures that meet client needs and take full advantage of cloud capabilities. Improve client missions by designing secure cloud services that support mission-critical operations.

Your Role

You will develop cloud-based solutions using the latest technologies and guide your team in the cloud migration process. You will recommend tools and solutions based on current on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. Your expertise will be vital in collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders to drive cloud strategy and design.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure implementation.
  • 8+ years architecting and implementing enterprise cloud environments.
  • Leadership of architecture, platform engineering, and development teams.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and create platform roadmaps.
  • Bachelor's degree required; certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Leading DevSecOps teams and implementing automation tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git).
  • Providing technical guidance on security, compliance, and network architecture.
  • Experience with Platform Engineering and DevSecOps practices.

Vetting & Compensation

Applicants will be subject to a government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. Compensation varies based on location, skills, and experience. The projected salary range is approximately $99,000 to $225,000 annually.
