About the 2026 Summer Games Software Developer Intern Role

This internship is part of Booz Allen Hamilton's innovative Summer Games program. It offers students a unique, startup accelerator-like environment where teams work on breakthrough solutions to complex, real-world challenges.

What You Will Do

Interns will work on challenge projects, receive mentorship from senior leaders, and use Booz Allen’s products and methodologies to solve multidimensional problems. Projects have ranged from developing assistive navigation technology for the blind to building real-time information tracking apps for military and public safety purposes.

What You Have

• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, and more.
• Academic or internship experience in machine learning, data mining, or graph algorithms.
• Ability to conduct research, write software, and produce technical documentation.
• Team collaboration skills and capacity for independent work.
• Enrollment in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field, with expected graduation by Winter 2027, Spring 2028, or Summer 2028.
• Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.

Compensation & Benefits
