The Opportunity: Senior Manager, Retail Fulfillment

Uqora’s Senior Manager, Retail Fulfillment is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing retail fulfillment operations across multiple channels, brands, and retail partners. This position requires a seasoned operations leader who can drive performance excellence, build scalable processes, lead cross-functional initiatives, and manage strategic retail partnerships while developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end retail fulfillment operations across multiple retail partners, ensuring excellence in OTIF performance, order accuracy, and compliance with retailer requirements.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for retail expansion, including new retailer onboarding processes, capability assessments, and go-to-market strategies.
• Own and optimize key fulfillment KPIs including OTIF, OS&D (overage, shortage, and damage), fill rates, inventory accuracy, and cost per order metrics.
• Manage strategic relationships with 3PL partners, conducting performance reviews, negotiating service agreements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead resolution of complex operational challenges including deduction disputes, retailer compliance issues, and supply chain disruptions while maintaining strong partner relationships.
• Oversee operational requirements for EDI integration and ERP configuration for new and existing retail partners, ensuring seamless system connectivity and data accuracy.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, identifying cost optimization opportunities while maintaining service level commitments.
• Build and lead a high-performing retail fulfillment team, providing mentorship, performance management, and career development opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales teams to align on inventory planning, demand forecasting, and promotional strategies.
• Drive technology adoption and process automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
• Lead month-end close activities including inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures, training programs, and quality control frameworks to ensure operational consistency.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of progressive experience in retail fulfillment, supply chain operations, or logistics management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated success managing retail partnerships with major grocery, pharmacy, or mass merchandise retailers.
• Deep expertise in EDI systems, ERP platforms, and retail compliance requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools including Excel, SQL, and BI platforms.
• Proven track record of process improvement and cost optimization in fulfillment operations.
• Strong leadership and people management experience with demonstrated ability to build and develop teams.

Preferred Experience

• CPG or health and wellness industry experience in an omnichannel environment.
• Experience managing multiple 3PL relationships and conducting warehouse operations assessments.
• Expertise in SPS Commerce, chargeback management, or similar retail fulfillment technology platforms.
• Experience leading large-scale retail expansion initiatives or new market launches.
• Contract negotiation and vendor management experience.

Salary Range

The national target base pay range is $120,000 - $200,000. For California and New York metro, it is $133,000 - $221,000. Actual compensation considers factors like location, education, experience, and qualifications.
