About the Role

As a Senior Content Designer, Platform, your primary responsibility will be to design UX copy and content for Bolt's digital products to help users navigate them seamlessly. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to create user-centric in-app or web microcopy, covering aspects like onboarding, feature naming, checkout flows, promotions, error messages, and instructional materials.

Your success in this role also depends on building strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders to influence strategies and decision-making processes.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Crafting and iterating copy to optimise user comprehension and engagement.
• Ensuring all copy aligns with Bolt's Product Style Guide.
• Conducting audits and research to identify opportunities and drive consistency across products.
• Creating best-practice documentation and guidelines for product managers and designers.
• Staying up-to-date with current best practices in UX content.
• Collaborating with user researchers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to grasp user needs, project requirements, and limitations.

About you:

• You have experience as a senior content designer or UX writer, preferably in a fast-paced technology or internet-based company, with a proven track record of shipping digital products that serve millions of users.
• You have a strong portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples for mobile and web platforms, including user interface copy, microcopy, information architecture, conversation design, direct or transactional emails.
• You're an expert at using Figma, agile software like Jira and Confluence, usability testing tools, and have worked with localisation teams.
• You’re a creative person who takes the initiative to find solutions to problems and takes ownership over your work.
• You have an outstanding command of English grammar and spelling and communicate fluently in English.
• You have exceptional collaboration skills, with a strong record of working with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders effectively.
