About the Operations Specialist Role

As an Operations Specialist, you will manage local ride-hailing operations, collaborate with stakeholders, and take full ownership as a marketplace manager. You will oversee core metrics, forecasts, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to shape business strategy and elevate operational efficiency.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Review core metrics, build partner relationships, and drive supply, demand, and investment strategies.
  • Support airport demand conversion and assist drivers in maximizing high-value trips.
  • Create, optimize, or remove processes to streamline operations and solve challenges.
  • Manage supply by overseeing driver acquisition, conversion, activation, and retention.
  • Own projects to boost market performance and elevate Hopp rides in Canada.

About You

  • 2+ years of operations or startup experience with a focus on analytics.
  • Strong collaboration and excellent English communication; French preferred.
  • Highly analytical with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Ownership mentality with experience managing multi-million dollar cities.
  • Passionate about new technologies, ride-hailing, and solving challenges creatively.
  • Customer-focused, detail-oriented, organized, and willing to travel for work.
