Overview
Boeing Defence UK Limited is seeking a Training and Authorisations Co-Ordinator (Apache) to support authorisation and training activities for maintenance, engineering and quality teams working on Chinook and Apache fleets.
Principal Tasks
The role includes co-ordinating authorisation requests and processing applications in Centrik in accordance with the T&A Manual. Responsibilities include:
- Co-ordinating requests for staff authorisations (MRP Part-145 & Part M).
- Updating and tracking training and authorisation records in Centrik.
- Communicating effectively with applicants and licence holders.
- Signing and issuing authorisations, administering revocations and concessions.
- Delivering training aligned with published syllabus and MRP Part-145 requirements.
- Reviewing and updating processes, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
The role also involves:
- Authoring and updating training syllabi and training packages.
- Assisting with documentation and process reviews.
- Identifying and reporting on non-conformances and CAPA actions.
- Supporting continuous improvement through data review and process enhancement.
Essential Training and Experience
Candidates should have Level 3 Aviation Maintenance or Aerospace/Defence Training, IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), ability to work autonomously, and good communication skills.
Desirable Skills
Defence Train the Trainer Qualification, Rotorcraft knowledge, MRP Part-145 Training, and experience with Quality Management techniques.
Additional Information
This is a full time role based in the United Kingdom requiring UK residency for security clearance, and is available exclusively for current Boeing Subsidiary Employees.
