About the Role

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Entry or Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst in Portland, OR. In this role, you will analyze, optimize, and support various aspects of the supply chain including supplier performance, production planning, and inventory management in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Position Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop demand forecasts and optimize inventory models.
  • Track supplier performance and support corrective actions.
  • Align production schedules with material supply and delivery targets.
  • Identify risks and develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
  • Drive cost savings and efficiency initiatives through process improvements.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs for leadership insights.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems like SAP and Oracle for system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, quality, and logistics.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include 1+ years of experience in supply chain management analysis and proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office products. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree and additional experience in data mining, aerospace, or manufacturing sectors.

Additional Information

This is a 1st shift position starting between 5AM-6AM with some off-shift and weekend support required. The role is based in the office and production shop. Note that relocation assistance is not provided and the position requires U.S. Person eligibility for export control compliance.
