Job Overview
The Structural Analysis Engineer Entry Level and Associate will join the Air Vehicle Engineering team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, supporting modifications and upgrades on Bombers (B-1 and/or B-52) programs.
Position Responsibilities (Level 1)
- Perform limited structural analysis using defined analysis tools.
- Participate in test activities and substantiation for customers and regulatory agencies.
- Support in-service products by investigating failures and recommending improvements.
- Work under close supervision.
Position Responsibilities (Level 2)
- Perform basic structural analysis to determine structural integrity using classical techniques.
- Develop complex structural math models and perform finite element analysis.
- Support customer inquiries, service bulletin development, and regulatory coordination.
- Create strength check notes and contribute to formal compliance documentation.
- Assist in research and definition of structural design requirements.
- Work under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Level 1)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences).
- Exposure to Finite Element Models (FEM) from academic or classwork projects.
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Level 2)
- 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active or ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
- Experience with structural analysis, FEM, and engineering software like Hypermesh, Abaqus CAE, and Nastran.
- Experience with aircraft primary structures and compliance with Boeing, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Additional Information
This is a 100% onsite role based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start). Relocation may be offered based on eligibility. The role is for 1st shift. Salary guidelines vary by level and experience. Applications are accepted until Oct. 16, 2025.
