Job Overview
Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is seeking a Propulsion Engineer to join our team in Seal Beach, CA. In this role, you will support customer technical inquiries and advocate customer issues. You will handle both emergent-short flow inquiries and long flow predictive projects while coordinating with internal groups and external partners.
Position Responsibilities
- Service Engineering: Review and coordinate customer inquiries, research prior solutions, assess safety issues, and provide technical presentations.
- Team Coordination: Build relationships with suppliers and internal teams while managing technical projects.
- Repair Design Engineering: Support nacelle repair inquiries through research, design one-off repairs, and coordinate design improvements.
- Additional Support: Contribute to the broader Propulsion Service Engineering team, including support for APU, Main Engines, Fuels, and process improvements.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 2+ years of experience in propulsion structures is required. Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience, familiarity with metallic and composite structures, and a strong customer service attitude.
