About the Role

The Process Improvement Specialist - Contract at Boeing is a temporary assignment for individuals with lean practitioner experience. You will instruct others in continuous improvement tools and principles, update instructional materials, mentor future instructors and less experienced practitioners, and work with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach day-to-day implementation of Boeing Production System (BPS) concepts.
  • Facilitate and manage continuous improvement workshops (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, A.I.W., 3P and more).
  • Develop and update training materials and instructional content.
  • Support advanced process improvements and strategy development.
  • Mentor less experienced practitioners in using Lean tools.

Additional Duties

You will support business acquisition, participate in evaluation processes, lead maturity assessments, and remove roadblocks while coaching teams at senior management levels. The work mostly occurs on 1st shift, with occasional support for later shifts.

Must Haves

  • Lean practitioner experience (level 3 or 4)
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Quick learner in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel

  • Lean Six Sigma experience

Compensation & Benefits

This contract role offers a competitive hourly rate between 65 and 75 USD. Optional benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K.
