Role Overview
The Mid-Level Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist in our Information, Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) team will own end-to-end procurement activities. This includes early stakeholder engagement, sourcing strategy development, RFP authoring, proposal analysis, and contract negotiations. You will manage supplier relationships and work on IT software, infrastructure, or services contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and market offerings
- Develop source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies
- Negotiate long-term agreements and oversee strategic contracts
- Manage stakeholder and contract lifecycle
- Support category strategy development and process improvements
- Participate in cross-functional teams for implementation plans
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: 3+ years in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or contracts; 1+ years collaborating with IT suppliers and negotiating IT contracts.
Preferred Qualifications: Additional experience in negotiating terms, editing contracts with a dedicated contracts team, process improvement implementation, SAP Ariba experience, and strong project leadership with effective communication skills.
Additional Information
This position is based in one of the following US locations: Mesa, AZ; Everett, WA; Seattle, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Englewood, CO; or North Charleston, SC. It is for the 1st shift, full time and does not include relocation assistance or visa sponsorship. Pay is based on experience and market considerations with a summary pay range of $74,800 - $108,100.
