Role Overview

Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking a Mid-Level Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Safety Data Analytics (SDA) program within Boeing Global Services (BGS). This role involves developing and maintaining BI and reporting tools to communicate data-driven insights to a global customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain tools and dashboards for flight safety insights.
  • Create Python packages and Power BI/Tableau dashboards for large datasets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute BI and reporting roadmap.
  • Scope analytical projects, validate findings, and share results.
  • Analyze large, cloud-based datasets and solve data trend issues.
  • Work in cross-functional teams with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Software Developers.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Legally allowed to work in Canada and eligible for US export-controlled data.
  • 3+ years experience with Python packages, data visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly) and Tableau/Power BI.
  • 2+ years experience with complex SQL queries, Git, CI/CD pipelines and cloud databases (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
  • Flexible work schedule for global customer support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Databricks, Delta Tables, or Google Cloud BigQuery.
  • Experience working with aerospace datasets and onboard flight data.

Additional Information

This is a locally hired virtual position in Canada with Boeing Canada. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or handle their own relocation expenses. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not provided. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada guidelines.
