Job Overview
Boeing Commercial Airplanes seeks an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our manufacturing team in various locations across Washington including Seattle, SeaTac, Renton, Tukwila, Kent, Auburn, and Puyallup. In this role, you will install, maintain, and test electrical equipment in building and plant systems while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Position Responsibilities
- Operate, install and test electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct routine testing on electrical breakers, switches, and relays.
- Perform lock out, tag out procedures and complete fall protection training.
- Install, replace, and repair high voltage components and lighting fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical motors and service overhead cranes.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This onsite role requires lifting weights from 10-15 lbs up to 15-35 lbs, working from heights with fall protection equipment, and strict adherence to safety standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years experience as an Electrician or Apprentice.
- At least 1+ years maintaining industrial equipment.
- Experience with working from heights and using fall protection equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrician license (EL01 and/or EL07) or an electrical card.
- Crane related experience and experience with prime power.
