Flight Technical Data Specialist

About the Role

Boeing is seeking a highly motivated Flight Technical Data Specialist to join the Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM) organization in Seal Beach, California. In this role, you will support the creation and maintenance of the Flight Crew Operations Manual and Quick Reference Handbook.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop flight crew operations procedures and manuals
• Convert engineering data for use by flight crews
• Develop, revise, and instruct flight crew training materials
• Consult on in-flight emergencies and accidents
• Gather information on digital data needs and customer publishing systems
• Obtain regulatory certification and approval for documents

Work Authorization & Location

This position is 100% onsite in Seal Beach, California.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 2+ years using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), team-based experience, and fast paced high volume environment experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher, over 5 years related experience, pilot license or pilot experience, and experience with Flight Crew Operations and publication tools (Adobe Frame, SQL, XML, Python).

Additional Information

This role requires U.S. Person status and adherence to export control requirements. The position offers relocation eligibility, is for 1st shift, and is a non-union role. Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
