Role Summary
The Estimating & Pricing Specialist supports the Commercial Satellites Estimating and Pricing team in El Segundo, CA. The role involves supporting U.S. Government contracts and proposal activities for Government Satellite Systems, leading complex estimates and pricing analyses, and acting as a key liaison with various internal and external stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead development of complex estimates and pricing from technical requirements.
- Apply innovative computational techniques to pricing strategies.
- Develop, analyze, and recommend proposals responsive to customer requirements.
- Create complex pricing models and conduct risk and opportunity analysis.
- Ensure compliance, maintain data integrity, and support internal audits.
- Collaborate with Contracts, Estimating, Supplier Management, Business Development, and Program Management teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost estimating and pricing functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading projects independently.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with U.S. Government Cost Accounting Standards and FAR.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Information
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and is subject to export control compliance requirements. It is a U.S.-based, 1st shift role with no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance available.
