Position Description
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2) to work with customers, suppliers, and associated stakeholders in support of escalated requirements as part of our BGS Emergent Requirements (AOG) Team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, demonstrates strong cross-functional collaboration and is dedicated to providing world-class customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage internal Purchase Orders from start to finish, ensuring timely shipping.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal customers, peers, engineering, and supplier management.
- Coordinate commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill stocking strategies.
- Assist in managing supply and demand, supplier quality, and on-time delivery performance.
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration to resolve supply chain issues impacting delivery schedules.
- Review and analyze demand and supply to optimize inventory and scheduling.
- Act as a liaison to provide status updates and resolve complex issues.
Basic Qualifications
- Basic knowledge in supply chain management.
- Experience in customer support or service roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available 100% on-site, 1st shift Monday through Friday.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Leadership experience in managing multiple projects and integrated teams.
Additional Information
This position is on-site in Seattle, WA. It offers a competitive total rewards package including base pay and variable compensation. Note that relocation assistance is not available and visa sponsorship is not provided. This role is 100% on-site, 1st shift and is subject to pre-employment drug testing.
