Role Overview

Boeing Commercial Airplanes seeks a Flight Deck Crew Operations Engineer in Everett, WA. This role focuses on designing, testing, and certifying state-of-the-art flight deck interfaces used by crews across the globe.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and certify flight deck interface from conception to service end.
  • Establish design requirements and implement enhancements for flight crew interfaces.
  • Collaborate with pilots, engineers, regulators, and suppliers.
  • Prototype cockpit layouts using commercial and proprietary tools.
  • Ensure integration of Boeing Flight Deck and human factors principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Level 2 requires 2+ years experience; Level 3 requires 5+ years experience. Some travel is required.

Preferred Experience

Experience in human factors, pilot certification, flight crew operations, familiarity with the Flight Management Computer interface, navigation sensors, and ergonomic analysis.

Additional Information

This US-based role requires U.S. Person eligibility per export control regulations. Relocation assistance may be available.
