At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. The Associate Assistant Buyer in Renton, WA is part of the Boeing Brand Experiences - Merchandising and Experience Team, supporting internal venues with merchandise solutions.
Position Responsibilities
The role involves supporting product selection, monitoring product performance, and maintaining an optimized merchandise catalog. Key tasks include:
- Assisting with SKU management including creation, updates, and discontinuation.
- Updating retail, cost, and pricing data as needed.
- Supporting internal teams by managing order inquiries and maintaining accurate status information.
- Facilitating RMAs and related process tracking.
- Quoting, development, production, shipping, and delivery support.
- Collaborating with marketing, IT, and operations to improve order fulfillment.
- Researching vendor trends and building strong vendor relationships.
- Attending trade shows and industry events for relationship building.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must have at least 1+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Microsoft Office Products
- Independent and collaborative work environments
- Customer service roles
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data analysis, the CounterPoint Point of Sale system, and process improvements.
