Overview

Boeing Defence UK Limited is looking for a Training and Authorisations Co-Ordinator. This role involves coordinating authorisation requests, delivering training, and maintaining training records via Centrik for technical staff involved in the Chinook and Apache fleets.

Principal Tasks

The role includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate all requests for authorisations in accordance with manuals.
  • Update training and authorisation records and track progress.
  • Maintain communications with applicants and licence holders.
  • Prepare and issue authorisations, manage revocations and concessions.
  • Administer training and authorisation data in Centrik.
  • Deliver and author training syllabus and support training sessions.
  • Manage non-conformances and process reviews for continuous improvement.

The role also involves delivering training in line with MRP Part-145 requirements, mentoring other instructors, and creating PowerPoint training packages.

Secondary Tasks & Additional Activities

Additional duties include documentation reviews, process updates, and managing non-conformance issues along with contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Essential and Desirable Qualifications

Essential qualifications include a Level 3 qualification in Aviation Maintenance or above, IT proficiency in Microsoft Office, and autonomy. Desirable skills include Defence Train the Trainer qualification, Rotorcraft experience, and familiarity with quality management techniques.
