Support Planning and Management Specialist

The Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems Division's Global Satellite Configuration and Control Equipment (GSCCE) program is seeking a motivated, goal-achieving, and team-oriented specialist to support update, upgrade, and development efforts for the global MILSATCOM ground system managing the WGS Payloads for all F1-F12 satellites.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Document and manage drawing/data systems and configuration management processes.
  • Organize and streamline processes, tasks, and workflow for efficiency.
  • Manage quality system processes including BQMS, ISO9001, and AS91001 standards.
  • Oversee supplier Configuration Management (CM) and technical data management.
  • Track and manage hardware/software inventory, licenses, and contracts.
  • Handle technical document reviews and ensure adherence to process execution.
  • Work closely with facilities, hardware/software teams and supplier management.
  • Operate within U.S. Security Clearance requirements.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Advanced education or equivalent work experience (minimum 2 years required).
  • Experience with product data management, configuration management principles and quality systems.
  • Ability to coordinate processes, track inventory, manage budgets, and support technical document reviews.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for obtaining security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD Security programs.
  • Background in the aerospace industry.

Work Location & Compensation:

This role is based in Colorado Springs, CO. The salary range is approximately $57,000 - $102,000 annually.
