Job Overview

As a Senior/Principal Back-End Software Developer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will create and enhance a high-visibility, collaborative web application that is crucial for real-time data updates and informed decision-making in national security. Your work supports both the customer and the broader Intelligence Community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide back-end software development and technical services for the Analytic and Engagement Applications organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate web-based service applications.
  • Perform code reviews, debug software, and correct defects.
  • Write and review software system documentation.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 20 years of SWE experience (25 years total if no bachelor's degree).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Experience with JPA/Hibernate, RESTful Services, JMS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL/CockRoachDB.
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot, Swagger API creation, Linux CLI tools, and JSON parsing.
  • Preferred full stack experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Gitlab CI/CD, Docker, and Elasticsearch.

Work Arrangement & Location

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with telework/remote options based on customer tasks. The primary work location is Annapolis Junction, MD.

Salary Information

Guideline pay range: $206,000 - $246,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
