Job Overview: Summer Innovation Intern UX/UI Designer
BNY is seeking a highly motivated and creative Summer Innovation Intern UX/UI Designer to join our APAC Strategic Partnership and Innovation (SPIN) team. This hybrid role, located in Singapore, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic innovation initiatives, explore emerging technologies, and support projects that drive business transformation across the organization and for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- UI/UX Design Support: Assist in creating clean, user-friendly web and mobile interface designs across APAC Innovation projects.
- Wireframes & Prototypes: Produce wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and simple visual assets to support concept development and validation.
- Design Systems & File Management: Maintain well-organized design files, ensure proper versioning, and contribute to updates within the design system.
- User Research: Support in collecting user feedback, synthesizing insights, and preparing research summaries.
- Engagement & Workshop Prep: Collaborate with senior designers to prepare design materials for client meetings, workshops, and internal reviews.
Desired Qualifications & Attributes
To be successful as a Summer Innovation Intern UX/UI Designer, candidates should be:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Design, HCI, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Interested in UI/UX design, digital product design, or design thinking.
- Equipped with excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently under guidance.
- Possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with innovation frameworks, design thinking, user research methods, or agile methodologies is a plus.
- Proficient with Figma, Miro, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
