The Opportunity: Senior Director, Program and Project Management

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Director, Program and Project Management to join our team. This role is located in London.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage an area of project managers who serve as the primary contact for internal clients and groups within the organization for large scale projects.
  • Oversee end-to-end project management activities including project reporting, planning, issue and risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client and relationship management, and project documentation preparation.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal clients and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of large scale projects on time, within budget, and to specification, acting as the primary interface for a specific business or functional area.
  • Proactively manage project management activities across a large business or functional area, providing subject matter expertise and guidance on highly complex business or technical issues, and assist with resolution of the most complex issues on major projects.
  • Lead recruitment strategy and manage and develop teams to maximize their collective contributions, motivating lower level managers to encourage professional growth.
  • Identify business unit requirements, create project and process specifications, coordinate with project teams, and ensure high impact projects are on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage multiple project management teams and take responsibility for the achievement of area goals and objectives.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • Significant work experience in Project Management preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
