Role Overview - Business Analyst, Trustee & Depositary Product
We are seeking a future team member to join our Trustee & Depositary team in London on a hybrid basis (4 days in office). In this role, you will collaborate with governance, engineering, compliance, and architecture teams; align strategies with product owners and stakeholders; define and evolve a fit-for-purpose Entity Data Product; translate client feedback into actionable requirements; and work with engineering teams to deliver scalable enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed policy, data lineage, and access entitlements.
- Align with product owners and stakeholders for strategy execution.
- Define and evolve the vision for the Entity Data Product.
- Translate client feedback into actionable requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with Engineering to enhance product scalability and performance.
- Monitor key data product health metrics including freshness and completeness.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency with project governance tools (JIRA, Epics, User Stories, Backlogs).
- Experience in data governance, quality frameworks, and metadata management.
- Understanding of third-party entity data providers and integration strategies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Exposure to financial services data models (FSLDM, BIAN, or Data Vault) is a plus.
- Experience with SQL, data modelling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, etc.).
- Familiarity with modern data infrastructure including APIs, data pipelines, and LLM-based enrichment solutions.
- Awareness of data governance frameworks or certifications (e.g., DAMA CDMP, DCAM) is advantageous.
