As a QA Automation Engineer, you will join the Quality team and work on all our payment solutions (Acquiring, Issuing, Disputes, etc.). At Estreem, QA is involved from the design phase, allowing you to contribute directly to defining workflows, identifying risks, and structuring quality from the very beginning of projects. Your objective: secure deliveries by automating tests and building robust acceptance strategies, while adding real value to the reliability and performance of our payment solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in agile rituals: daily stand-ups, poker planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews, demos.
- Collaborate closely with developers and Business Analysts in a continuous improvement approach.
- Challenge specifications, acceptance criteria, and the breakdown into User Stories.
- Take ownership of and improve existing test kits (including non-regression).
- Define the test strategy and associated data sets.
- Write tests in Gherkin (Cucumber) and automation JavaScript functions.
- Execute automated and manual test campaigns.
- Track anomalies, report alerts, and feed progress indicators.
- Control the quality of acceptance reports (Jira / XRay).
Additional Responsibilities (depending on the squad)
- Tests related to cards: ceiling changes, blocking, activation of Apple Pay / Google Pay / Samsung Pay.
- Authorization tests on various scopes: proximity, e-commerce, fuel, highway, open payment, fund transfers...
- Multi-currency tests: EUR, XPF, USD, GBP...
- Simulations of communication between payment terminals and banking processors.
- HMI tests with Cucumber and Selenium.
- Performance tests (Dynatrace, Yourkit...).
- Technical tests around Kafka, Rest APIs, Prometheus indicators, etc.
Required Profile
- Engineering degree or Master's in Computer Science.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in test automation.
- First experience in automating server environments / CI-CD, including:
- Contribution to the implementation or improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
- Automation of server processes.
- Understanding of continuous integration and deployment best practices.
- First experience in test industrialization, particularly on the back-end component.
Technical Skills and Stack
- API Testing: proven mastery.
- Automation & Programming: Cucumber + JavaScript.
- JavaScript Execution Environment: Node.js.
- Integration of tests into CI/CD pipelines (XlRelease or equivalent).
