About The Job
BNP Paribas’ RISK department supports risk appetite and decision-making with optimized resources and platforms. The Python Developer Trainee will join the RISK Systems team, working in a Scaled Agile environment and contributing to innovative projects in Artificial Intelligence, process efficiency, and automation.
Main Activities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable Python code
- Rapidly prototype solutions to validate new concepts
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Incrementally deliver applications to meet customer requirements
- Resolve incidents in production environments
- Collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems and remove blockages
Profile and Skills
If you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related field, experience with Python programming, advanced English proficiency, and a sound understanding of object-oriented and functional programming, you will be a strong fit. Familiarity with SQL, software testing, and Agile/SAFE practices is an advantage.
