As an Investment Research Team Manager, you will guide your team to excellence, managing day-to-day aspects, ensuring objectives are met, and applying the team strategy. The role aims at publishing clear, timely, and thought-provoking research on topics ranging from financial and economic forecasts to in-depth analysis of particular assets, economies, and themes.

Your Main Activities Are

• Effectively handle the day-to-day management of the team.
• Responsible for recruitment processes, objectives, and appraisals of all team members.
• Ensure regular one-to-one and team meetings, control motivation, and career progression, ensuring a stable and resilient team.
• Research new modeling techniques and lead the development of quant indicators for asset prices, economic variables, and derivative markets.
• Use the quant framework to analyze investment themes and generate trade ideas, producing thematic research reports relating quant analytics to current economic and market newsflow.
• Interact often with Supporting Teams and exchange regular feedback with Team Leaders, including Middle Office, IT Trade and Application Support, and Research & Development Teams.
• Meet regularly with different Front Office Heads of Desks to discuss and exchange feedback around various business topics.

Profile And Skills To Success

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• 5-7 years of experience in Data Analytics.
• 5-7 years of experience in Financial Analysis and Advisory.
• Ability to deliver/Results-driven.
• Strong communication skills.
• Active listening.
• Ability to develop others & improve their skills.
• Proficiency in Data - Predictive Modeling.
• Strong understanding of Financial Markets - Transversal Financial Markets.
