About the AIR Tech Team

We are the AIR Tech team, a group of AI experts within BNP Paribas’ Risk and Compliance functions. Our mission is to develop artificial intelligence solutions that address risk-management challenges across the Group. Based in Madrid, we collaborate with data scientists, engineers, sponsors, and users to deliver trustworthy AI tools.

Mission: AI Business Analyst

As an AI Business Analyst, you will translate stakeholder needs into clear specifications for Data Scientists and AI/ML Engineers. You will scope AI project requirements, ensuring relevance and feasibility for users. You will monitor the AI project portfolio, tracking use cases, risks, and benefits for the Risk function. You will act as a key account manager for RISK AI Ambassadors, fostering collaboration across strategic pillars.

What You’ll Do

  • Scope AI project requirements, ensuring AIR Tech understands constraints and user relevance.
  • Coordinate between Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, and sponsors, translating business needs into technical tasks.
  • Monitor the AI project portfolio, tracking use cases, assessing risks, and reporting benefits to Risk leadership.
  • Act as key account manager for RISK AI Ambassadors, maintaining relationships across credit, operational, and other risk pillars.
  • Contribute to AI governance topics such as bias mitigation, explainability, and model risk management.

What You’ll Bring

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management, project management, or coordination roles.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI/ML teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; client-focused, rigorous, and autonomous work style.
  • Advanced English (spoken and written); French is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Python and Power BI (or similar data-visualization tools).
