Intern Generative AI in Engineering

What awaits you?
- Support a multidisciplinary team at the forefront of generative AI applied to engineering.
- Develop a deep understanding of machine learning models applied to CAE processes, focusing on numerical simulations (FEM).
- Contribute to benchmarking, applying, and improving machine learning methods to understand relationships between geometries, descriptions, videos, engineering knowledge, and physical properties.
- Assist in integrating these methods into agent-based workflows for evaluating simulation results and product development.
- Collaborate closely with domain experts and AI specialists, and external partners including startups, hyperscalers, and leading AI labs.
What should you bring along?
- Master's degree studies in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Programming experience in Python and practical knowledge of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch).
- Experience with LLMs/VLMs and their application in agentic frameworks (e.g., Langchain, Claude Agents SDK) in a real-world project.
- Technical understanding of CAE processes, especially numerical simulations.
- Scientific mindset and enthusiasm for applying cutting-edge research to real-world challenges.
- Ability to contribute collaboratively and in an organized manner.
- Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.
