Our team at BMW Group drives digital transformation in production by replacing and harmonizing existing reporting and analytics solutions. As part of your internship, you will actively participate in the development of innovative solutions in close cooperation with data analysts from various manufacturing areas.
Your Responsibilities
- You support the digital transformation in manufacturing by replacing and harmonizing reporting and analytics solutions.
- You also participate in the implementation of automated test cases to ensure high software quality in close coordination with specialist users.
- Furthermore, you contribute to defining and implementing a semantic model for consistent reporting and future AI applications.
- You bring your ideas to the conceptual definition of development requirements and shape our application.
- You benefit from exchange in a dynamic, multicultural project team with experts from different manufacturing areas.
- Here you gain insights into state-of-the-art technologies and methods in Data Analytics, AI, and Software Quality.
What You Bring
- Studies in (Business) Informatics, Data Science, or comparable fields.
- Advanced knowledge of Snowflake and confident use of SQL for data queries and analyses.
- Practical experience with JIRA, Confluence, AWS Quicksight, Playwright, Office 365, and generative Artificial Intelligence.
- Motivation to participate in the introduction of a reporting and analytics application in a production environment.
- Team spirit combined with strong intrinsic motivation.
- Structured and analytical thinking skills.
- Very good German and English language skills.
