About the Role
The Senior Product Owner develops and delivers the full product development lifecycle from setting strategic objectives to bringing a product to market that delivers business value. This role bridges business requirements with technology capabilities by researching, investigating, selecting and developing products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle including persona development, proof of concepts, backlog management, and product activation.
- Provide the voice of the business to clarify feature, story, and content requirements.
- Create story acceptance criteria, prioritize the product backlog, and translate vision into actionable tasks.
- Engage stakeholders and lead product adoption and customer experience definition.
- Plan and manage budgets, timelines and tactical components throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor performance, address issues, and implement changes responding to market trends.
Qualifications
Candidates should have typically 7+ years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree in Business or a related field. Required intermediate skills include marketing analysis and creative thinking. Advanced proficiency is needed in process improvement, business strategy, product management, and agile methodologies.
Salary & Benefits
The salary range is between $94,600.00 and $176,000.00. In addition, BMO offers a competitive total compensation package including performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
