Overview
The Senior Manager, Marketing Automation, Wealth Journeys oversees the development team responsible for Wealth Journeys. The role focuses on strategic planning and maximizing the MarTech stack to deliver highly personalized, relevant communications aligned to a one-client view.
General Responsibilities
Service Levels: Define and maintain standards, processes, and procedures. Investigate deliverability issues, adhere to production schedules, provide status updates, and communicate with key stakeholders.
Brand & Customer Experience: Govern content and production of Marketing Automation assets while ensuring compliance with brand, privacy, and security policies. Monitor unsubscribe, bounce, and complaint rates and adhere to spam regulations (CAN-SPAM, CASL, PIPIEDA, etc.).
Reporting: Provide post reporting, analysis, and strategic direction based on industry best practices and trends.
Database Marketing: Understand database marketing and CRM programs, automate data flows between existing databases and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. SQL experience is an asset.
Governance and Compliance: Act as a subject matter expert on digital communication best practices including performance and regulatory compliance.
Risk Management and Control: Provide input on journey mapping effectiveness and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
General Experience
Requires an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 5-10 years as an HTML developer with SFMC experience, mandatory leadership experience, strong communication, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
Automation Experience
Specialist in Marketing Automation with hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder. Experience with Advertising Studio is an asset. Requires advanced email HTML development skills, AMPScript coding, campaign production management, data integration strategies and QA expertise.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $86,000.00 - $160,000.00, with potential performance-based incentives, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans. For more details, visit the BMO Total Rewards page.
