Job Overview
The Senior Data Architect Artificial Intelligence AWS Cloud role at BMO focuses on designing and validating AI and Data architecture solutions. The candidate will lead end-to-end AI solution reference architectures, integrating data pipelines, model training, deployment, and monitoring, while ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and regulatory directives.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to AI adoption and enterprise architecture strategy.
- Partner with stakeholders to define technology capabilities and guidelines.
- Lead design and deployment of AI solution reference architectures.
- Develop the technical roadmap for enterprise platform capabilities.
- Evaluate and select tools, platforms, and frameworks for AI systems.
- Provide strategic advice on AI and data solutions.
- Ensure systems are technically sound and well-integrated.
- Monitor industry trends and perform proof-of-concept initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering and 15+ years of experience across software development, data engineering, and AI. Specific requirements include:
- 5+ years as a Data Architect
- 2+ years delivering AI Architectures
- 3+ years with AWS Cloud and hands-on coding skills (Python preferred)
- Experience with GenAI, LLMs, or reinforcement learning in production
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks and cloud platforms
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range is $94,600.00 - $176,000.00, supplemented by performance-based incentives, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. BMO offers health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
