Overview

The Lead Internal Executive Communications role at BMO requires you to lead and manage internal communications strategy for the Head of Canadian P&BB Distribution. This role calls for creating engaging and innovative communications across multiple media formats including video, written communications, and speeches, and requires iterative co-creation and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft high quality leadership messages, newsletters, town halls, and social media content.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess communications needs.
  • Source and translate complex information into accessible content.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication initiatives.
  • Manage communications in both English and French, including translation.
  • Stay updated on trends and new tools across media formats.
  • Manage expenses and external suppliers as required.

Qualifications

Applicants typically hold 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media or a related field. Expertise in writing, editing, video production, and a storytelling approach is essential. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and influence skills are required, along with a proven track record in team collaboration and data-driven decision making.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a salaried position with a pay range between $86,000 and $160,000. Compensation may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other benefits such as health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement savings plans.
