Job Description
The Business Analyst at BMO investigates and identifies strategies to optimize business operations and services as well as inform business decisions. The role involves defining business requirements to support technology builds and operations, sourcing and analyzing data, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Source business and market data to evaluate project effects.
- Assess efficiency and performance of technology systems.
- Analyze malfunctions, system workflow, and troubleshoot issues.
- Elicit requirements, analyze feasibility, and validate outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive project documents for multiple stakeholders.
- Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in business analysis.
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Foundational to advanced proficiency in Agile, JIRA, process improvement, and business architecture.
- Lending (Mortgage) experience is a key asset.
Work Environment & Compensation:
- This role requires 2-3 days per week in the office.
- Salary range: $75,900.00 - $141,900.00 with additional performance incentives and benefits.
