About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining product feature enhancements and new product launches for our web app and native apps. To be successful, you’ll need to be a customer-centric designer that balances business goals with creative execution. You’ll work closely with Product Management and Engineering to plan and create a backlog, push features and design updates, and QA and fix bugs. You’ll be required to use relevant data and research to inform your design decisions, and to help push the product in the right direction. You’ll be expected to primarily work autonomously, and to collaborate with other members of the design team.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the design vision of the company, working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing leaders
  • Work with product managers to define and prioritize a backlog
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and provide deliverables under reasonably tight deadlines
  • Present your work effectively, and help guide decision-making
  • Create prototypes and tests for user testing when valuable
  • Create flow charts and user journey diagrams when valuable
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to create designs that serve the customer

What We Look For

  • 4+ years of product design experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with design best practices for iOS and Android
  • Extensive experience with Figma, including libraries and prototyping
  • Experience with analytics tools like Mixpanel and Metabase
  • Bonus points if you have experience designing fintech products and/or experience designing products for business owners
