BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time, board-certified Veterinary Internist to join our collaborative, multispecialty, and emergency-focused team. Post-residency practice experience is preferred but not required. Consideration will be given to residency-trained candidates who are still working towards board certification.

BluePearl Levittown is a state-of-the-art, 20,000-square-foot specialty and emergency veterinary hospital that opened in 2011. We currently have two full-time and one part-time internist. The internal medicine service is enhanced by our successful residency program, which has a strong track record of clinical and academic excellence. In addition to an exciting clinical environment, this position offers the opportunity to help shape the future of veterinary medicine while gaining personal and professional fulfillment through teaching and mentorship. • Dedicated endoscopy suite equipped with both flexible and rigid endoscopes
• Special procedures suite with fluoroscopy, ideal for delivering minimally invasive treatments
• Advanced imaging & diagnostics: CT, MRI, ultrasound (with board-certified radiologists on-site 6 days/week)
• Busy I-131 radioiodine service for cats
• Separate canine and feline wards
• ICU equipped with Snyder oxygen cages, high-flow oxygen, telemetry, and mechanical ventilation — supported by 3 full-time and 1 part-time ACVECC diplomates, providing patient care and support 7 days/week
• Extracorporeal therapies, including hemodialysis and plasmapheresis
• On-site Antech and in-house labs, including VCM viscoelastic monitoring

We are also deeply committed to education. Our team regularly hosts continuing education events for primary care veterinarians, strengthening our referral relationships through knowledge-sharing.

Academic Environment

With over 40 veterinarians on staff, we support residency programs in internal medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging, as well as specialty internships and rotating internships. We have vibrant teaching and learning rounds involving the internal medicine team and the whole hospital.
