About the Role

Bluecurrent is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company partnering with top energy retailers and distributors, Bluecurrent is looking for an experienced and motivated Business Analysis Team Lead to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across IT and business project portfolios.

This role involves championing best practice BA and PMO capabilities while ensuring efficiency, transparency, and alignment with Bluecurrent's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and guide the business analysts' team.
  • Implement best practices in requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex business analysis activities.
  • Assess, design, and implement improvements to PMO processes, methodologies, and governance structures.
  • Partner with PMO leadership and project managers to establish consistent working methods.
  • Establish measures of success for PMO process adoption and effectiveness.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of business analysis lead experience, demonstrated ability in designing and implementing PMO frameworks, and a continuous improvement coupled with a collaborative mindset. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. Leadership or mentoring experience is preferred to foster a continuous learning environment.
