Overview
Join our BlueCare Plus Clinical Support Team as a Health Navigator at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. You will be a key point of contact for members, providing compassionate and knowledgeable support to help them navigate their healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to member inquiries via a dedicated phone line.
- Assist with various member needs in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Complete Health Risk Assessments and manage administrative tasks including faxes.
- Conduct educational calls advising on available benefits, services, and programs.
- Reach out to members with identified care gaps and assist in scheduling.
- Manage system work queues and screen members for eligibility and history.
- Facilitate research and analysis of inquiries and process related issues.
- Work overtime as needed and complete digital literacy assessments.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate has at least one year experience in medical office settings and working with the senior population. You should be patient, empathetic, able to work independently, and knowledgeable in medical terminology.
Schedule & Qualifications
Schedule is on a weekly rotating basis with shifts ranging from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. A minimum of 2 years customer service experience is required along with an Associate Degree or equivalent experience in a health-related field.
