QA Architect at Blue Yonder

Blue Yonder is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDAT) with over 9 years of experience in software testing and automation. This role involves designing scalable automation frameworks, leading Agile teams, and driving AI-driven testing innovation within the supply chain domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, backend, and integration testing.
  • Lead and mentor a Scrum team while ensuring Agile best practices.
  • Take ownership of design decisions and propose robust solutions.
  • Evaluate and integrate new testing tools and technologies.
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for efficient release cycles.
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered testing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 9+ years in test automation and quality engineering.
  • Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Experience with frameworks like WebdriverIO, Playwright, Selenium.
  • Hands-on expertise in backend and integration testing.
  • Strong knowledge of BDD practices (Cucumber, Gherkin).
  • Experience leading Agile teams and mentoring engineers.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and Git.
  • Problem-solving abilities and design acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the supply chain domain.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Experience with AI-based testing and agentic automation strategies.
