Job Summary
For one of our major clients, we are looking for a PostgreSQL and SQL Server Database Administrator!
Your Missions as a Level 3 DBA:
- PostgreSQL Database Maintenance in Operational Condition (MCO): Versions 9.x to 15.x. This includes version upgrades, patch management, high availability setup and management, incident management, backup and restore troubleshooting, change task execution, backlog and priority management, performance optimization, and operational task automation/industrialization using Ansible and Python scripting. You will also be expected to proactively suggest improvements for supervision, configuration, and daily operations.
- SQL Server Database Maintenance in Operational Condition (MCO): Versions 2016 to 2022. Similar responsibilities to PostgreSQL MCO, including version upgrades, patch management, high availability setup and management, incident management, backup and restore troubleshooting, change task execution, backlog and priority management, performance optimization, and operational task automation/industrialization using Ansible and Python scripting. You will also be expected to proactively suggest improvements for supervision, configuration, and daily operations.
- Project Work: Ability to work in a project-oriented manner.
- On-Call Duties: Availability for on-call shifts and planned interventions outside of standard working hours (HNO).
- Documentation: Preparation of procedures, action plans, and analysis reports for DBA expertise and/or management. Updating architecture files.
- Industrialization: Focus on Ansible industrialization.

Your Profile:
- Minimum of a Bac+2 degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in database administration.
- More than just a diploma, we are looking for experience and personality!

Additional Information:
