Blue Soft is seeking a Database Administrator specializing in PostgreSQL and SQL Server to join our Cloud Infrastructure business unit. As part of our Cloud Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the piloting and transformation of our clients' infrastructures, from design to operation. We work directly with major clients, focusing on both traditional infrastructure and new cloud/DevOps challenges. Our team comprises experts in Systems, Storage, Cloud, DevOps, DBAs, and Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Level 3 DBA, your missions will include:

• PostgreSQL Database Management (Versions 9.x to 15.x):
• Version upgrades and patch management.
• High Availability setup and management.
• Incident management.
• Backup and restoration management.
• Change task execution.
• Backlog and priority ticket management; reactivity is key.
• Performance optimization.
• Automation and industrialization of operational tasks using Ansible and Python scripting.
• Proactive contributions to monitoring, configuration, and daily operations.
• SQL Server Database Management (Versions 2016 to 2022):
• Version upgrades and patch management.
• High Availability setup and management.
• Incident management.
• Backup and restoration management.
• Change task execution.
• Backlog and priority ticket management; reactivity is key.
• Performance optimization.
• Automation and industrialization of operational tasks using Ansible and Python scripting.
• Proactive contributions to monitoring, configuration, and daily operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Project mode work.
• On-call duties and planned interventions outside of normal hours (HNO).
• Writing procedures, action plans, and analysis reports for DBA expertise and management.
• Updating architecture files.
• ANSIBLE industrialization.

Technical Environment:

• PostgreSQL: 80%
• SQL Server: 20%

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bac+2 degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in database administration.
• Strong written and oral English proficiency.
• Excellent writing and documentation skills.
• Rigorous, methodical, and reactive.
• Autonomous and available.
• Ability to share, capitalize, report, and communicate.
