Role Details
This Intern Conversion role in Materials & Processes Engineering supports Blue Origin corporate functions. You may work on projects involving material and manufacturing process selection, development, testing, characterization, and analysis for space vehicles and propulsion systems. The specific duties will depend on business unit objectives and your desired career path.
Location Specific Information
The position is available at various Blue Origin locations including Kent, WA; Van Horn, TX; Cape Canaveral, FL; Huntsville, AL; Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Denver, CO; and Washington, DC. Van Horn, TX site offers additional financial incentives such as a living allowance and relocation assistance for eligible employees.
Minimum Qualifications
- Successfully completed a Blue Origin internship in 2025.
- Enrolled or recently graduating student with a B.S. degree in relevant engineering fields.
- Able to start full-time by September 2026.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or equivalent authorization for employment.
Preferred Qualifications
M.S. degree in materials science and related engineering fields is preferred.
