About the Director, HR Technology and Software Engineering Role
At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space. Join our People Operations team in Renton, WA as the Director, HR Technology and Software Engineering. You will lead a team in developing cutting-edge HR software solutions and transform the employee and candidate experience through advanced AI/ML integrations.
Responsibilities
- Lead HR software and technology teams for custom solutions.
- Integrate Generative AI and ML into HR functions.
- Develop technical roadmaps and innovate HR applications.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across HR, ET, Finance, and more.
- Mentor team members and manage HR supplier relationships.
- Oversee continuous improvement, budget management, and KPI tracking.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. 10+ years in software development with 4+ years in leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and proficiency with AI solutions are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Workday, building products incorporating Large Language Models, and HR software development.
